Forest v Wolves in Pictures

No1 Son recently received two complimentary tickets for the Forest v Wolves game on 10th March and, being relatively uninterested in footy, passed them onto BFTF and No3 Son.

The seats were really good ones, close to the front and close to the action. No3 son really enjoyed himself and it is also perhasp worth mentioning that the stewards were, without exception, helpful.

Here are a few pictures from the day....

BFTF and No3 son travelled to the game by taking the tram to Nottingham City Centre and then walking from there to the ground. One thing that surprised BFTF was football fans are, apparently, so dangerous that the Police felt the need to post a cordon around certain pubs (which presumably contained the visiting fans).

Police corden off a pub, because it is full of football supporters

The first half had Wolves playing from the end were BFTF and No3 Son were, and there was plenty of exciting football.

The seats were great, very cloe to the action.

At half time, the groundsmen continues with their ongoing battle against the Forest ground mole problem by tring to stab the little blighters...apparently

An effective way to combat a mole problem?

BFTF was particularly fascinated by the messages the pitchside advertising was sending out, which included...
An exortation to give money to gambling companies...

...and to purchase alcoholic drinks...

...and to give more money to gambling companies...

...and buy some more alcoholic drinks...

...and to gamble some more at a Nottingham Casino!
