Interviews in April on the BFTF Radio Show

Some cracking interviews lined up for the Building For The Future Radio show over the next few weeks. Listen in on Radio Dawn 107.6FM on Wednesdays at 5pm (or Saturday nights at 10pm for the repeat) - or wait for the best bits to appear here on the blog, it's your call!

04th Apr : Faisal and Danesh - Supply Chain Management
Part of an occasional series of programmes looking at various careers, Faisal and Danesh work as supply chain managers and will, inshallah, be describing how they contribute to ensuring that organisations work efficiently. With their experience in Engineering, Automotive and Food industries this should be a very interesting discussion.

11th Apr : Engage
Two volunteer youth workers scheduled for this show, which will look at their outreach work in Forest Fields with youngsters at risk of being drawn into anti-social behaviour. BFTF always has time for people who are helping their local communities in a practical way, and is really looking forward to hearing about the work they are involved in.

18th May : Sajid Muhammed - Himmah
A timely interview with Sajid, just prior to Himmah's Family Fun Day, this show provides an opportunity to ask Sajid for an update on Himmah's work with destitute asylum seekers and Citizens UK. Sajid has been something of a regualr on the show, and transcripts of some previous interviews can be found here, here and here.

25th April : Professor Ian Shaw - Aspects of Health Policy
Ian Shaw is Professor of Health Policy at the University of Nottingham and has a wide variety of experience and interests in this area. The interview was provoked by his article on the Kidderminster effect and will look at this as well as the UK's preparedness for pandemics, the Health and Social Care Bill, competetion in the NHS and a project to look at Health in the South Asian community. Crikey!
